(More customer reviews)These are good Floor Mats, But there is an issue concerning the 2008 TOYOTA FJ CRUISER. The form or square shape of the mat underneath the gas pedal, prevents the gas pedal from being depressed to the floor properly. You wont have to worry about gas pedal runaway, but you will have to press the gas pedal considerably harder for passing or quick acceleration. Im not sure why this popped up square is under the gas pedal, because there is no bump, lump or square shape beneath that area of the floor. When you depress the gas pedal hard for rapid acceleration, it does give way. It could possibly be a subtle way of tamming my driving habits, but it could lead you to think that your vehicle had a loss of power or normal performance. How I found out about this: About a week or two after installing the floor mats, I noticed, what i thought was a loss of power and speed in the performance of my 08 FJ cruiser. I initially thought my air cleaner was dirty or i had purchased some bad fuel. Later, out of frustration, I mashed the gas pedal down hard! and noticed the gas pedal popped and went further down to the floor. Needless to say, power was instantly restored. I found out it was the all weather mat, and my mashing down hard on the gas pedal, created a dent in the raised square area of the floor mat underneath the gas pedal, allowing the gas pedal to travel freely. You could cut the area of the mat out, but it defeats the purpose of the all weather protection. I still like the protection of the floor mats, but not sure of this raised molded conture issue on this mat for the FJ CRUISER. May only be a problem for my model. I would have given a 5 star rating, but this was enough of an issue for me to bump it down to a 3 star, for my Ride only. Form this mat with out that raised area under the gas pedal and 5 Stars it is!
