(More customer reviews)Okay, these mats are VERY inexpensive, so my expectations were not too high to begin with. However, I didn't expect them to give me headaches either! I could smell the fumes through the crappy bag they were sent in. I assume they are from the die used to color the mats. I opened the bag only to be further assaulted by the intense chemical smell. I took them out back to air out for a full day. The next morning I placed them in the car, but the smell was still very strong, especially with the sun heating up the interior. Later that day I noticed that I was getting a headache, but didn't think it was caused by the fumes until the next day when I started getting another headache while driving. It was then that I put 2 and 2 together to realize it must be the mats. Also there was some kind of hair all over them. It looked like cat hair, but I don't know. These hairs came up pretty easily with some vacuuming though.
Over all here are your pros and cons:
Pros:
1. They fit very well in the car. Like they were from the dealership.
2. The color is consistent.
3. They are soft, yet evenly plush with nice flexible rubber on the bottom
Cons:
1. The chemical smell is over powering even after 3 days! Though they have gotten better now.
2. They were sent in a bag allowing them to be crumpled up. This meant they had creases in them until they relaxed.
3. There was some kind of hair I needed to remove.
Because they are so inexpensive I would recommend them. However, I would suggest to the sellers to improve their packaging, make sure they are shipped clean, and above all else allow them to fully air out before selling them!
